            Deregister a Serial from Contacts

            Manually Deregister Serials

            You can manually de-register a serial from a contact. This will mark the product serial number as available

            To De-register a Serial, do the following:
            1. From the Left hand menu, navigate to More
            2. Click on “Products”
            3. This will open up the Products List window.
            4. Click on the desired product
            5. Under the selected product, click on "Serials". This will open up the Serials List window 
            6. Click on the desired serial, this will open up the Serial Details page. Here you can be able to see the current contact who has registered the serial.
            7. Click on the de-register icon deregister serial icon.png . Upon confirming the action, the serial will be de-registered from the contact and the status of the serial will change from “registered” to “available”

                  Deregister Serials via an Upload

                  You can de-register a serials via an upload. This comes in handy if you have a large list of products serials that you would like to de-register from contacts

                  To de-register products via an upload, do the following:

                  1. From the Left hand menu, navigate to More
                  2. Click on “Products”
                  3. This will open up the Products List window.
                  4. Click on the desired product
                  5. Under the selected product, click on "Serials". This will open up the Serials List window 
                  6. Click on the Add icon add serials icon.png to load the Serial Add options
                  7. Click on “ Upload Serial Batch”.
                  8. Create an excel spreadsheet and add in a column with ID as the header.
                  9. On this spreadsheet, add in a new column with the column Id as "em_Register". In this column add the word "unregister" .  The serials will be de-registered from the contact and the status of the serials will change from “registered” to “available”
