How do I Delete Contacts in a Group and Keep Their Data?
As part of managing your contacts and contacts groups within your account, you may wish to delete existing contacts but these contacts have a history of messages,conversations and data.
Depending on your own engagement plan and process, you may wish to store this data offline after deleting the said contacts from the Echo Mobile platform. You can perform data extraction of contact's data by generating various reports available within the platform.
It is important to note that once a contact is deleted from the Echo Mobile platform, all their related data will be deleted from their platform
What Data Can I Export that is Tied to Contacts?
Export Contacts from Groups
You can export out your existing contact database by choosing to include the desired contact details(standard fields, custom fields, labels e.t.c) which will be generated to an excel file for further analysis.
Export Survey/Quiz Response Results and Notice Send Reports
Survey and Quiz responses and results from contacts in Echo Mobile are analysed and stored in real time. In this export, you choose to include the desired contact details(standard fields, custom fields, labels e.t.c) which will be generated to an excel file for further analysis. Once the notice has been sent out to contacts, a notice send report can be exported from the platform in an Excel Sheet format (.xls , .xlsx)
Export Group Inbox Messages
Each group has an inbox where messages from the respondents are stored. This would be a group specific export that you filter and generate by date.
Export out Message Logs
You can choose to export out all incoming and outgoing messages from your organization's account. This would be a system-wide export that you filter and generate by date.
