Viewing a Quiz Summary

Quiz Summary gives an overview of the selected communication. Here you able to view details such as the date created, the date edited, the number of questions in the quiz , recent activities, average duration, calculate cost etc.

Accessing Quiz Summary

  1. From the Left hand menu, navigate to Projects
  2. Click on “All Projects” in the sub menu, this will open up the Project List
  3. Open the project folder in which your quiz is contained, click on the desired quiz. This will open the Quiz Editor window.
  4. Click on “Summary” on the top row.

Cost Summary- Calculating Cost

This feature is available on Quizzes to calculate the total cost of the communication that has been sent out.

This feature is found under the Quiz as shown below:


This will calculate the total cost of Quiz based on the number of questions, cost of outgoing SMS/IVR/USSD, the number of invites sent and the cost of airtime incentives transferred ever since the Quiz was first sent out.

To calculate cost, do the following:
  1. Go to the Quiz Summary by following the steps under accessing the quiz summary above
  2. Click on "Calculate Cost"
  3. Calculating cost will take a while, so a background task will be created
  4. Click on the bell icon at the top right corner to access the background task
  5. When the task is complete, click on it to open then you will see the calculated cost.

Update Counts

This feature update the counts of the completes and in progress in the Quiz summary.


Since the  counts are reconciled every 10 minutes, this feature triggers a reconciliation of the counts.

To update counts, do the following:

  1. Go to the Quiz Summary by following the steps under accessing the quiz summary above
  2. Click on "Update Counts".
