            Getting Started with Creating Communications

            Communications can refer to a poll, sampling, series of subsequent messages, notifications that you wish to send to a targeted group of contacts for a specific period of time. Within the Echo Mobile Platform, you can create and design new communication such as surveys, quizzes or notices in moments.

            Create a Project

            A project folder allows you organize and group similar engagements together. Within a project folder, you can create, design and manage all related communications. To get started in creating your communication. you would need to first create a project folder.
            1. Go to your homepage
            2. Using the quick access button, click on “Create”
            3. Click on “Project”
            4. Enter the project name
            5. Click on “Save”
            Once you have your project folder,create your desired communications.

            Create and Design Surveys

            Would you like to ask your contacts a series of set questions and expect response back? Go ahead and create a survey! Surveys allow you to have two way communications with your respondents.
            1. Go to your homepage
            2. Using the quick access button, click on “Create”
            3. Click on “Survey”
            4. Select the desired project folder
            5. This opens up the Survey editor window. Any changes and setups configured under the survey editor window will automatically be saved
            You can create survey questions that will go out to your contacts via the desired channel and your contact would be able to submit their response. Survey questions can be multiple-choice, numeric, location-based, information-based, open-ended in addition to a growing number of other types.

            Create and Design Notices

            Would you like to send out a message to you contacts as a notification or alert? Go ahead and create a notice!  Notices allow you to have one way communications with your contacts.
            1. Go to your homepage
            2. Using the quick access button, click on “Create”
            3. Click on “Notice”
            4. Select the desired project folder
            5. This opens the Notice Editor window.
            6. Click on “Save” to update any changes made.

            Notices are simple mass messages or alerts that users can send to selected contacts or groups. As a notice is one way, any response made to a notice will be captured in the Inbox and will not be tied to the notice.
