Export Messages (Incoming and/or Outgoing Messages)

Here you can be able to generate all incoming and outgoing messages from your organization's account. This would be a system-wide export that you filter and generate by date.

To export Incoming and/or Outgoing messages, do the following:
  1. On the top navigation bar, click on your organization menu
  2. Select "Message Logs" tab
  3. Click on the three dots menu then click on Export Messages
  4. Select;
    1. All Messages to export both incoming and outgoing messages.
    2. Filtered by direction to either incoming or outgoing messages.
    3. Filtered by channel to export channel specific messages.
  5. Click on Start, enter your preferred date for the report.
  6. Click on End, enter your preferred date for the report.
  7. Click on Generate to export your report. The spreadsheet generated will contain all the communication sent out for that period. From the spreadsheet, you can filter the data to get what you need.


For IVR Survey, you will get lots of message logs having a blank "Call Status (IVR)".  That's because we have a message log for each hop of a voice call (message out, key-press for a question, response back in) and we don't know the call status while those hops are taking place.

It's only the last hop when our Service Provider tell us what happened to the call, that's when end up with the Call Status (IVR) filled in.

To get clean data, we recommend that you export the results from Notice Exports/Survey exports.
